How To Style A Brown Suit For A Chic & Feminine Look
I feel like brown has always been an underrated colour, especially when it comes to elegant clothes such as formal dresses, a suit or blouses. However, it has recently found a place in the fashion and style scene. This is a real blessing because not only it is a neutral colour (it looks good with practically all the colours, like white, blue, pink, yellow, green, black, grey…) but also it is very chic, both in accessories and for outfits. And if you’ve read my last blogpost you’ll have seen that it will be one of the most popular colours for the spring and summer, because of its earthy tone. I have always been a fan of it, whether it came in sandy shades or in darker ones, such as the gorgeous dark brown.
Credo che il marrone sia sempre stato un colore eccessivamente sottovalutato, specialmente nei capi eleganti, quali i vestiti da cerimonia, i completi o le camicette. Nell’ultimo periodo però è riuscito a trovare un posto in pole-position nel mondo della moda e dello stile. Ed è una vera e propria fortuna perchè oltre che essere un colore neutro (sta bene praticamente con tutti i colori, bianco, blu, rosa, giallo, verde, nero, grigio..) e decisamente chic, non solo negli accessorri, ma anche per interi outfits. Se avete visto il mio ultimo video sul canale YouTube, avrete visto che per questa primavera e estate sarà uno dei colori più in voga grazie al richiamo con i colori della terra. Io l’ho sempre amato molto, sia le nuances che tendono al sabbia che quelle più intense e scure, come il testa di moro, tra l’altro stupendo.

It is a little treasure I found in a tiny second-hand shop for a very small price. The size should be a EU26-EU28. In fact on me it fits slightly baggy, but I don’t mind at all because with the 90s return, the oversize style looks really good on the suits too, especially in the brown shades. 😉
Questo completo l’avrete sicuramente già visto apparire in un mio video YouTube e nelle mie stories su Instagram, è una piccola chicca che ho trovato in un negozietto di second-hand ad un prezzo piccolissimo. La taglia dev’essere una 40-42, difatti su di me veste leggermente morbido, ma non mi dispiace affatto in quanto, con il ritorno degli anni 90, lo stile oversize anche nei completi sta veramente bene, specialmente nelle sfumature del marrone. 😉
HOW I STYLE IT
The blue-brown combination is one of the most seen in men’s wear, so why not recreate it for us too? 😍 The navy blue ankle boots from MissGuided you’ve also seen here and they are extremely comfortable. I’ m using them for different outfits and styles! As for the top, I have to be honest, this is the first time I’ve worn it since I bought it about two years ago. It wasn’t because I didn’t like it but because I forgot about it the whole time! Ahhh, it always happens to me! ahah
This handbag is a Valentino piece from the 80s, needless to say I love it. The details, the colour, the shape are perfect. It’s feminine, bold and edgy. I think it’s the cherry on top of this brown suit outfit. What do you think?
L’abbinamento blu-marrone è uno dei più visti nei look maschili, quindi perchè non ricrearlo anche noi?😍 Gli stivaletti blu notte di MissGuided li avete visti anche qui e sono estremamente comodi e li sto usando per diversi outfit e stili. Mentre il top, devo essere sincera, è la prima volta che lo indosso da quando l’ho acquistato, circa due anni fa. Non perchè non mi piacesse, anzi, ma perchè me ne dimenticavo sempre!! Ahhhh, quante volte ci capita?! ahah La borsetta invece è un gioiello di Valentino degli anni ’80, inutile dire quanto la adori. I dettagli, il colore, la forma, sono perfetti. E’ femminile, audace e grintosa. Penso sia la ciliegina sulla torta di questo outfit con il completo marrone. Che cosa ne dite?
