Today I’m going to show you my favorite products for thin hair and believe me, they saved me. When I was a little girl, I had long, long hair and it was very full bodied and healthy, but when I became a teenager everything changed. I started to have oily and dry hair, which was a problem I had until this January. (Yes, for so long. I know, it’s crazy. ) I started looking for some natural solutions and some products that could help me solve this annoying problem. Surely, one of the biggest help came from my diet. I don’t want to lie, food can be your best friend or your worst enemy. I eat more vegetables and fruit than before, even if I’ve been on a plant-based diet for almost 4 years, it doesn’t mean you eat well. Not at all. We also have junk food ahahah and I was a big fan. 😉 So my diet was the first thing I changed. Then, I tried henna and it was a miracle! At first I was afraid of henna because I thought it would dye my hair and I was WRONG. There are different types of henna and the neutral one is CASSIA OBOVATA. This helps the hair to become stronger and full bodied, simply. It’s also really easy to do and after 2/3 treatments you start to see the differences.
Faith-In-Nature – Shampoo
And now let’s talk about the products I’ve been using lately for my hair. First of all, shampoo. I’m trying to avoid all the brands that use silicones, parabens and all these bad ingredients in their products. I discovered on Amazon this brand “Faith-in-Nature” and it is quite good and not expensive. At first, my hair needed to be washed after only 2 days but I found out that it is a regular process when switching from bad to good products. As if the hair needed detoxification and to throw out all the toxins. After a month it should be better, but every person is different, maybe it takes a few more weeks. 🙂
Löwengrip – Overnight Mask & Hair Oil
These two products are literally fabulous. The green one is a night mask that I love because it leaves the hair really smooth and helps to reduce split ends, in fact I apply it only on the lengths. Then, the other one, is a fantastic oil that doesn’t make your hair greasy. I usually use it when my hairstyle is done and I want to give a professional touch to my style 🙂 plus it smells SO good. Honestly, I love this Swedish brand.
Hairmed – Hydrating Mask & Protective Serum
This Italian brand was a big surprise! I only discovered it last summer and I’m very happy about it. The products are of excellent quality and natural. I am trying to use the moisturizing mask once a week and the protective/moisturizing spray every time I use any hair tools. It is very important for people with thin hair to protect it from high temperatures. Our hair is more sensitive and we need to use the right products.
